"White Furniture" Project is a large storm drain project located in downtown Mebane, NC. The White Furniture Company was founded in 1881 parallel to the (then) new Rail Road. The property has now been converted to apartments, and the existing storm drain system was enlarged and re -directed. J.F. Wilkerson Contracting was selected to complete the upgrade that required closing US 70 at Fifth Street.
